Paradai Crafted Chocolate Cafe

In praise of Thai chocolate.

Publish Date: 28 January 2020

Love chocolate? Try some of Thailand’s very best here. Local chocolatier Paradai is behind this singularly minded cafe devoted to single-origin Thai cacao.

Nestled on the third floor of Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC), this cozy spot invites you to take a break from all the art with, well, chocolate.

Bon bons are available in flavours that range from mint and mixed berry to double dark chocolate, while to drink we recommend the hot chocolate topped with a marshmallow.

Paradai’s chocolate is no joke and comes recognised by the International Chocolate Awards, which gave bronze to the brand’s Thailand Nakhon Si Thammarat dark milk 58% bar in the “dark milk chocolate” category of the 2018 Asia-Pacific Competition—a great gift idea for those at home!

How to get there: Jump off the BTS Skytrain at National Stadium station and you really can't miss this hulking white structure that is BACC. Coming from S@S Bangkok is a cinch: simply turn left onto Rama 1 Road and you'll reach the BACC in a matter of minutes. Paradai sits on the third floor.
